Eds Adventures:
Well it seems to be a hurry up and wait kind of thing. Right now my camper is at Jupiter hitch with no rack for my kayak or bike. It has been there for 5 days. I hope that it gets done tomorrow and then sway bars put on. That and an engine light are the two things in need of getting done before I leave. Plus a long list to pack and a chance to drive the car with my trailer will be a good thing. Sure does not seem i am ready yet.
Hopefully by Wednesady i can make my way to Ocala and visit Larry. I will be going through a couple of days of just working on learning all the skills for living on the road for 6 months. Larry did it in his VW bus a couple of years ago and will be my savior for this trip. I will be taking lots of notes.
Thankfully the idea of this trip is not to be rushed so i am trying my best to let go of all these things out of my control right now with the faith that all will happen just as it should when it should.
The plan is from Ocala is to get to Big bend NP in Texas for my first stop and then work my way to Albequerque NM for a week at the Action and Spiritual renewal center of Fr. Richard Rorer around the 8th of April.
Thats it for now and will upadate this week some time.

Final Week of Preperation
Eds Adventures- There is now a 15 foot camper at Roin & Elenor house ready for a trip. I hav eyet to hitch it to the car, maybe today. There is much to do yet. I need a sway bar, brakes and a rack for kayak and bike. Either Copleys or Jupiter Hitch should do it.
I am packing and getting rid of much from my house. Keep simplifying is what I say. I am sure everything will work out just as it was meant to be.
Last week I drove Tom & Lo-e's car to Boston 27 hrs 2 days. Came back and drove a trailer full of golf clubs for the troops to NC with Jay and Hootie. It was a great trip and had fun. On the way back we went to St Petes fl to pick up my pop-up camper.
So off to more packing cleaning etc today. Waiting to hear if I am babysitting MK's nieces Lab this weekend and whether I will be taking a dog. Still some questions left

Rookery Loop Trail WPB
Preperations are in full swing
Eds Adventures,
This week so far I have purchased a Pop-up trailer 2005 Rockwood. 17ft with grill outside shower lots of room slide out dinette. I now have to pay and pick it up in Tampa. Jay and I are taking a trailer full of golf clubs and supplies to Give2thetroops.org from Riverbend this weekend. We will drop off supplies and trailer in Greenvile NC and then head back via Tampa and pick up my trailer. Wow what an adventure that will be.
Bob and I had a discussion and he has decided it would not work out renting my condo for 6 months. It was probably for the best for him and me. I have the condo on Craigslist to rent and have 3 replies already from yesterday. Hopefull it will work out better.
Mary Kay is talking to her niece to see if she would allow me to take her lab "Mako" on the trip with me. It would be so wonderful to have a companion along the way. It could also be a real challenge and limit my activities. It has been weighing heavily on my mind for a while and am trying to lift this one up to the Lord and see where it leads. her niece is in a challenge and it would be really good for Mako to get more attention and excersize. He would definitely get that with me.
I have gotten a Honda generator for the trip and bought a garmin gps unit as well as a ipod touch from my rewards points. i am figuring everyrthing out slowely and hope to have it all set for the trip.
i am stacking things in the extra bedroom to see how much room I will need and what to bring. 6 months is a long time and I have no real idea what I will need since I have never done this before. Larry G will help out and i will bring too much as usual.
Things are happening so quickly now!! It is a bit frightening as well as mostly very exciting. It is amazing how motivated and productive you can be when you have a deadline. I have not had many deadlines these past few years. It is good to push myself and make changes always in life. That is the only way for me to really grow and continue to find meaning and fullfillment in life.
i will be heading up to Boston driving Tom&Lo-e car for them on the 25th of March and flying back home on the 27th. Then the journey begins.
lots to due but I have the faith that everything will work out and I will be blessed during these coming months to follow my calling to help protect our environment and help those in need. There is never a shortage of needs.
