First day on my own

Eds Adventures: Well the trip started great from Ocala and Larry's after getting the camper all packed up and loaded. Sure am learning a lot about campers and traveling. The first 140 miles were great until a camper tire bow-out on 1-10 around Tallahasse yesterday afternoon. Quite scary and stressfull but learned how toi change a camper tire the hard way.,  I finally made it to Pascaguala Missippi and Shepherd St Park last night.

I spent my firsdt night out under the stars on a presentation platform of wood with my pad and sleeping bag under the stars. Wow what a great night with no-one around except the Stars and moon and wilderness. This morning I hiked down to the river and saw a nice sunrise and found Allen and his wife who gave me coffee. Bugs are getting bad so I will pack it up and head toward Texas today.

Thak goodness for Larry Gibbons and all his help I would nevewr had made it. We had a great time and got to kayak the Ockawahala rive rand Silver Springs where we saw some nice gators and best of all we saw wild Magaub Monkeys that have populated the area after escaping from the Tarzan Movies back in the4 30's That was so great and got some niuce shots and film I will post.

Getting eatiung up by bugs so goit to go and head on the road.
Hope ofr an uneventful day of driving.
