Eds Adventures: I left with my camper on Thurs. It was the first time I had driven it at all with my car. Just a little nervous for the trip to Ocala but the car and camper handled well. My gas is about 13.8 MPG not tooo bad.

I got to Larry's and spent Thursday and friday mostly setting up and figuring out the systems. Lots of Technology and challenges each step of the way. I am such a slow learner but taking my time and having a good time with Larry.

We went biking on Fri-Sat at Carney park near his house. It is on Lake Weir and Little lake Weir. What a great area to live if retired. So cheap to buy as place close to the lake. I saw armadillo, wild turkey, and kingfishers byt the lake.

Well I am slowly learning all I need to survive out here camping. I plan on leaving Tuesday morning some time and head toward Big Bend Tx by Thursday or Friday and set up camp there for a few days.

I put some photos of the camper here at Larry's. What a great place, I may just stay here for the summer if the rent is right!!! Larry would probably be ready to kick me out but thank goodness for his expertise helping me out. He spent 6 months living in his VW Bus so he is laughing his head off with my luxury's. Mattress warmer for my bed. Lights, fan etc. ands all my gadgets.
